Build your document list from the instructions issued for your claim. A generic list is useful for planning, but it cannot establish that a packet is complete.
Start with the right instructions
The Controller distinguishes owners, heirs, businesses, and government agencies. The documents depend on the claimant and claim. Use the current instructions provided through the official process rather than copying an old checklist.

Make an evidence inventory
Create a private checklist with four columns: requested item, why it is needed, where you will obtain it, and whether it is ready. Copy the wording of the request into your own notes so that an informal label does not hide a missing requirement.
Keep the property ID with each checklist. If several properties are involved, record which documents relate to which record. Keep unresolved discrepancies, such as a different address or name, on a separate question list.
Ask about missing or conflicting documents
If you cannot obtain an item, ask the Controller what alternative it accepts for your circumstances. Do not assume that an old statement or a letter from a relative will substitute for requested evidence. If instructions conflict, preserve both versions and ask which applies before signing.
Use the designated submission channel
Follow the official claim instructions for transmitting sensitive evidence. Do not paste it into Uncover’s search fields or email it with a general support question. Check legibility and keep your own copy of what you submit.
